Commissioning external evaluations is good management practice. It is often a requirement when you have received public funding.
We have conducted many evaluations as an independent voice, for businesses, universities, colleges and funding agencies. Sometimes, with funding agencies, for example, we are given the criteria. We will carry out quantitative and qualitative assessments at your premises, talking to your staff, and where required, your client group. With a thorough, professional and confidential approach we will assess and report on your organisation’s success in achieving the desired goals.
Evaluation is about the measurement of performance, and an appreciation of the effectiveness of your organization in delivering the required outputs. The evaluation can be about a specific project (internally or externally funded), or an event, or a department’s performance. We have managed evaluation exercises in the public and private sectors, both within organisations, and across consortia where there is joint responsibility for delivery.
Where we have conducted evaluations of public-sector projects, these have often been published by the commissioning body. In the private sector, the recommendations of our evaluation reports are used to enhance management practices and improve employee performance.
